‘Benvingut a pagès tot l’any‘ means ‘Welcome to the countryside all year round’, and is a new initiative encouraging people to visit small-scale producers in Catalonia who are prepared to open the doors of their homes and share their work in the fields, pastures, farms or workshops. It is aimed at families, schools or couples, and is a way of showing where everything we eat comes from and who is behind the food. It represents an opportunity to visit the farms and fill your pantry by buying directly from the producer.
